Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Jalapenos
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes. Set aside.
- 2
Make the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, pineapple chutney, crema, mojo sauce, shredded cheese, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- 3
Prepare the Salmon
Chop the salmon fillets into small pieces and fold them into the cheese mixture until evenly distributed.
- 4
Stuff the Jalapenos
Fill each jalapeno half with the salmon and cheese mixture, pressing down slightly to ensure they are well packed.
- 5
Bake the Poppers
Place the stuffed jalapenos on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the jalapenos are tender and the filling is bubbly.
- 6
Serve
Remove the jalapeno poppers from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
