Bread Base

Garlic Butter Mixture

Method

Prepare the Garlic Butter

  1. 1

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, over low heat, melt the unsalted butter until completely liquid.

  2. 2

    Add Garlic

Finely mince the garlic cloves and add them to the melted butter. Stir and cook gently for about 2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

  3. 3

    Mix in Parsley and Seasonings

Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the chopped fresh parsley, salt, and black pepper. Combine well and set aside to cool slightly.

Prepare the Baguette

  1. 4

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 5

    Slice the Baguette

Take the baguette and slice it in half lengthwise, creating two long halves.

  3. 6

    Brush with Olive Oil

Drizzle the cut sides of the baguette with olive oil and brush evenly to coat.

Assemble the Garlic Bread

  1. 7

    Spread the Garlic Butter

Using a spoon or spatula, spread the garlic butter mixture generously over the cut sides of the baguette.

Bake the Garlic Bread

  1. 8

    Wrap and Bake

Wrap the prepared baguette halves in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.

  2. 9

    Unwrap and Toast

After baking, carefully unwrap the foil and return the baguette halves to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.

Serve

  1. 10

    Slice and Serve

Remove the garlic bread from the oven, let it cool slightly, then slice into individual pieces and serve warm.
