Burger Patties

Toppings

Method

Prepare the Bacon

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Once cooked, remove and place on a paper towel to drain excess grease.

Prepare the Burger Patties

  1. 2

    Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.

  2. 3

    Form the Patties

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions. Flatten each portion into a patty, and make a small indentation in the center of each patty.

  3. 4

    Add Cheese

Cut the cheddar cheese into quarters and place one piece in the center of each patty. Fold the edges of the patty over the cheese and seal tightly to ensure the cheese is enclosed.

Cook the Burger Patties

  1. 5

    Grill or Pan-Fry

In the same skillet used for the bacon or on a grill, cook the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the brioche buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of each toasted brioche bun, layer a handful of lettuce, followed by one of the cheddar-stuffed burger patties, then add the crispy bacon and slices of tomato.

  3. 8

    Complete the Burger

Cover with the top half of the brioche bun and serve immediately.
