    Prepare the Oven

    Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).

    Cream Butter and Sugar

    In a mixing bowl, beat the butter and granulated sugar together until the mixture is light and fluffy.

    Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then mix in the almond extract.

    Sift the flour and salt together, then gently fold into the wet mixture until just combined.

    Gradually stir in the milk until the batter is smooth and well combined.
