Pancake Ingredients

Method

Pancake Preparation

1

Prepare Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar until well combined.

2

Mix Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, combine the buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter. Whisk until smooth.

3

Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix; some lumps are okay.

4

Heat the Griddle

Preheat a non-stick griddle or frying pan over medium heat. You can lightly grease it with a little butter or cooking spray.

5

Cook the Pancakes

Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the griddle. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook until golden brown, about 1-2 more minutes.

6

Serve

Serve warm with cane syrup butter on top.
