Lobster and Marinade
Method
Preparation and Cooking
Prepare the Lobster
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the lobsters and cook for 5 minutes. Remove the lobsters and let them cool slightly.
Make the Miso Marinade
In a bowl, combine miso paste, Sriracha sauce, honey, sesame oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth.
Split the Lobster
Once cool enough to handle, split each lobster in half lengthwise using a sharp knife. Remove the tomalley (green part) if desired.
Marinate the Lobster
Brush the miso marinade generously over the flesh of the lobster halves.
Roast the Lobster
Place the lobster halves on a baking sheet, flesh side up. Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
Serve
Remove the lobster from the oven, let it rest for a few minutes, then serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
