Method
Crispy Fish Tacos Directions
- 1
Prepare the Fish
Cut the Alaskan Halibut into bite-sized pieces. Season with cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In one bowl, place cornstarch. In a second bowl, beat the eggs. In a third bowl, place panko breadcrumbs.
- 3
Bread the Fish
Dip each piece of fish into the cornstarch, then the egg, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- 4
Fry the Fish
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the breaded fish pieces until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Warm the Tortillas
In a separate skillet, warm the corn tortillas over medium heat until pliable.
- 6
Assemble the Tacos
Place fried fish pieces on each tortilla. Top with shredded cabbage and drizzle with Salsa Verde. Serve with lime wedges.
