Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty

In a bowl, gently mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form the mixture into a patty about 3/4 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, adding the cheddar cheese slice on top in the last minute of cooking.

  3. 3

    Toast the Bun

While the patty is cooking, split the burger bun and toast it on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of the toasted bun. Top with lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, ketchup, and mustard. Place the top half of the bun on top.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the burger immediately with your favorite side dishes.
