Chesapeake Burger Directions
- 1
Prepare the Crab Mix
In a mixing bowl, gently combine the lump crabmeat, Old Bay seasoning, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Be careful not to break up the crabmeat too much.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the crab mixture into two equal portions and gently form into patties. Place them in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to help them firm up.
- 3
Cook the Patties
Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the crab patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and heated through.
- 4
Assemble the Burger
Toast the burger buns lightly. Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked crab patty, a slice of tomato, and the top half of the bun.
- 5
Serve and Enjoy
Serve the Chesapeake Burgers warm with your favorite sides.
