Lobster Tails

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Lobster Tails

Preheat your broiler to high. Using kitchen shears, carefully cut down the top shell of the lobster tails, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull the lobster meat out slightly, leaving it attached at the base. This will allow for even cooking.

  2. 2

    Make Garlic Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. 3

    Broil the Lobster Tails

Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet, meat side up. Brush generously with the garlic butter mixture, reserving some for later. Broil the lobster tails for about 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and slightly browned. Baste with the reserved garlic butter halfway through the cooking time.

  4. 4

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the lobster tails from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve immediately with lemon wedges and remaining garlic butter on the side.
