Mousse Preparation

Melt Chocolate
Chop the dark chocolate into small pieces and place it in a heatproof bowl. Set this bowl over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method). Stir occasionally until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Whip Egg Whites
In a clean mixing bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gradually add the granulated sugar, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form and the mixture is glossy.

Whip Cream
In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture until fully incorporated.

Chill Mousse
Spoon the mousse into individual serving dishes or glasses. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
Garnishing

Prepare Garnish
Before serving, prepare the garnish by shaving the chocolate and washing the berries. Set aside.

Serve
Once the mousse is set, remove from the refrigerator. Top each serving with chocolate shavings, fresh berries, and a mint leaf for a refreshing touch. Enjoy your rich chocolate mousse!
