Preparation

  1. 1

    Prep the Cauliflower

Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Batter

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Coat the Cauliflower

Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing the excess to drip off. Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  2. 4

    Bake the Cauliflower

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the batter is crispy and golden brown.

  3. 5

    Prepare Buffalo Sauce

While the cauliflower is baking, melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce until well combined.

  4. 6

    Toss in Sauce

Once the cauliflower is done baking, remove it from the oven and toss it in the buffalo sauce until well coated.

  5. 7

    Final Bake

Return the coated cauliflower to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to allow the sauce to set.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve Hot

Remove from the oven and serve hot, with your choice of dipping sauce (like ranch or blue cheese) on the side.
