    Prepare the Glass

    Fill a whiskey glass with ice to chill while you prepare the drink.

    Combine Ingredients

    In a mixing glass, pour in 2 oz of Maker's Mark Bourbon, 0.5 oz of Disaronno Amaretto, 0.25 oz of pure cane syrup, and 2 dashes of bitters.

    Stir the Mixture

    Add ice to the mixing glass and stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled.

    Strain and Serve

    Remove the ice from your chilled whiskey glass. Strain the chilled mixture into the glass.

    Express the oils from the orange peel over the drink and drop it in. Light the rosemary sprig with a lighter or kitchen torch until it smolders and place it in the drink for a smoky aroma.
