Prepare the Meatballs
- 1
Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ricotta cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- 2
Form Meatballs
Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, about 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3
Bake Meatballs
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and browned.
Assemble the Sandwich

Heat Marinara Sauce
In a saucepan, heat the marinara sauce over medium heat until warm.
- 5
Prepare the Sub Rolls
Slice the sub rolls in half and lightly toast them if desired.
- 6
Add Meatballs and Sauce
Place 2-3 meatballs in each sub roll and generously spoon marinara sauce over the meatballs.
- 7
Top with Cheese and Basil
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the meatballs and top with fresh basil leaves.
- 8
Melt the Cheese
Place the assembled sandwiches in the oven or under a broiler for a few minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Prepare the Truffle Fries
- 9
Cut Potatoes
Wash and cut the russet potatoes into thin fries, about 1/4 inch thick.
- 10
Season and Bake
In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, truffle oil, salt, and black pepper. Spread them out on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- 11
Bake Fries
Bake the fries in the oven at 425°F (220°C) for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
