Sautéed Spinach or Broccolini

Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the sirloin steak with olive oil, salt, and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Place the seasoned steak on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time based on desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Gorgonzola Butter Sauce Preparation

  1. 3

    Melt the Butter

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  2. 4

    Add Gorgonzola and Cream

Add the gorgonzola cheese and heavy cream to the saucepan. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley.

Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes Preparation

  1. 5

    Boil the Potatoes

Peel and cut the russet potatoes into quarters. Place them in a pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 6

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add buttermilk, unsalted butter, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Sautéed Spinach or Broccolini Preparation

  1. 7

    Sauté the Greens

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add spinach or broccolini and cook until wilted, about 3-5 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.
