Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Wrap the Mozzarella

Take each mozzarella ball and wrap it in a slice of prosciutto, ensuring the cheese is fully covered. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Bread

Slice the rosemary bread into 1/2 inch thick slices. Brush each slice lightly with olive oil and season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Bake the Prosciutto-Wrapped Mozzarella

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the wrapped mozzarella balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the prosciutto is crispy and the cheese is melted.

  2. 4

    Grill the Bread

While the cheese is baking, grill the slices of rosemary bread on a grill pan or outdoor grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

  3. 5

    Heat the Sauce

In a small saucepan, heat the arrabbiata sauce over medium heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Plate the Dish

Once the mozzarella is done baking, remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Place the grilled rosemary bread on a serving platter, top each slice with a spoonful of arrabbiata sauce, and then place one prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella ball on top.

  2. 7

    Garnish and Serve

If desired, garnish with fresh basil leaves and drizzle with balsamic glaze. Serve immediately while warm.
