Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped dill, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon
Place the wild salmon fillet in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the salmon. Ensure the fillet is well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Preheat the Grill or Oven
If grilling, preheat the grill to medium-high heat. If baking, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Cook the Salmon
Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. For grilling, place the salmon skin-side down on the grill and cook for about 5-6 minutes per side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. For baking, place the salmon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for about 12-15 minutes.

Once cooked, transfer the salmon to a serving plate. Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh dill sprigs if desired.
