Method
Preparing the Chicken
- 1
Bread the Chicken
Start by seasoning the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the eggs, and finally coat in breadcrumbs.
- 2
Fry the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded chicken breasts. Fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Making the Buffalo Sauce
- 3
Prepare the Sauce
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well and let simmer for a minute or two to combine flavors.
- 4
Coat the Chicken
Once the chicken is cooked, toss the fried chicken in the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
Assembling the Wrap
- 5
Prepare the Tortillas
Lay out the large flour tortillas on a clean surface. On each tortilla, place a generous amount of romaine lettuce.
- 6
Add Chicken and Dressing
Add the buffalo chicken on top of the lettuce. Drizzle blue cheese dressing over the chicken.
- 7
Wrap It Up
Fold the sides of the tortilla in, then roll it tightly from the bottom up to form a wrap. Slice in half if desired and serve immediately.
