Boil Water
In a pot, bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil.

Steep Tea
Add 2 tablespoons of tea leaves or tea bags to the boiling water. Reduce heat and let it steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

Add Flavor
Once steeped, remove from heat. Stir in 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of honey or sugar until fully dissolved.

Add Mint
Bruise 5 fresh mint leaves slightly to release their flavor, then add them to the tea. Let it sit for another 2 minutes.

Strain and Serve
Strain the tea into a cup or glass, discarding the tea leaves or bags and mint leaves. Serve hot or chilled over ice.
