Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Crab Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and green onion. Mix gently to combine.

  2. 2

    Add Bindings

Add the beaten egg and breadcrumbs to the mixture. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Mix until everything is well incorporated, being careful not to break up the crab meat too much.

  3. 3

    Form the Cakes

Using your hands, shape the mixture into patties, about 3 inches in diameter. Place the formed crab cakes on a plate.

  4. 4

    Cook the Crab Cakes

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the crab cakes and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and heated through.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the crab cakes from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauce.
