Preparation of Chicken Wings
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your wood oven to a high temperature, around 450°F (230°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Marinate the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, fresh lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them until they are evenly coated in the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
Cooking the Wings
- 3
Cook the Wings
Place the marinated chicken wings directly on the grill or a baking tray. Cook them in the wood oven for about 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are crispy and cooked through.
Buffalo Sauce (Optional)
- 4
Prepare the Buffalo Sauce
While the wings are cooking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in the hot sauce, garlic powder, and honey until well combined. Remove from heat.
- 5
Toss Wings in Sauce
Once the wings are cooked, place them in a large bowl and pour the Buffalo sauce over them. Toss to coat evenly.
Serving
- 6
Serve the Wings
Serve the wings hot, garnished with lemon wedges if desired. Enjoy your wood oven wings!
