Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the ribeye steaks with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Ensure that the steaks are evenly coated. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before grilling.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to high heat. Place the seasoned ribeye steaks on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes Preparation

  1. 3

    Cook the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into quarters. Place them in a large pot, cover with water, and add a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes or until tender.

  2. 4

    Prepare Garlic

While the potatoes are cooking, peel and mince the garlic cloves.

  3. 5

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the minced garlic, butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Vegetable Preparation

  1. 6

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and chop the broccoli and carrots into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 7

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a medium skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped broccoli and carrots, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until they are tender but still crisp.
