Caviar

Accompaniments

Method

Preparation of Accompaniments

  1. 1

    Prepare the Blini

If you are using store-bought blini, warm them gently in a microwave or a skillet until they are soft. If making from scratch, prepare a batter and cook the blini on a hot skillet until golden brown on both sides.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Crème Fraîche

Place the crème fraîche in a small serving bowl and set it aside. You can add a pinch of salt or lemon juice for extra flavor if desired.

  3. 3

    Chop the Chives

Wash the chives and finely chop them with a sharp knife. Place them in a small bowl for easy serving.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Lemon Wedges

Wash the lemons and cut them into wedges. Arrange them on a serving plate.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Capers

Drain the capers from their brine and pat them dry with a paper towel. Place them in a small bowl.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Caviar

On a serving platter, place the Kaluga Hybrid caviar in a small bowl or directly on the platter. Ensure it remains chilled during serving by placing it on a bed of ice if desired.

  2. 7

    Arrange Accompaniments

Arrange the warm blini, crème fraîche, chopped chives, lemon wedges, and capers around the caviar on the platter.

  3. 8

    Serve

Invite your guests to enjoy the caviar by spreading some crème fraîche on a blini, topping it with caviar, a sprinkle of chives, and a squeeze of lemon juice. Encourage them to experiment with capers as well.
