Chicken Tenders

Method

Chicken Tenders

1

Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into strips, about 1 inch wide.

2

Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place the all-purpose flour in the first, beat the eggs in the second, and mix the breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in the third.

3

Bread the Chicken

Dredge each chicken strip in flour, shaking off excess. Dip into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.

4

Heat Oil

In a large frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering (about 350°F or 175°C).

5

Fry the Chicken Tenders

Carefully place breaded chicken strips into the hot oil. Fry for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

6

Drain and Serve

Remove the chicken tenders from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve warm with your choice of Ranch or BBQ sauce.
