1. Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish.

2. Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

3. Beat Eggs and Sugar

In another bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar together using an electric mixer on high speed until the mixture is thick and pale, about 5 minutes.

4. Combine Mixtures

Add the milk and vanilla extract to the egg mixture, and mix on low speed until combined. Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, and mix until just combined.

5. Pour into Baking Dish

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

6. Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

7. Cool

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
