Preparing the Steak

Marinate the Steak
Season the Angus steak with salt and let it marinate for about 30 minutes to enhance the flavor.

Making the Morita Chili Sauce

Prepare the Chilis
Remove the stems and seeds from the dried Morita chilis. Rinse them briefly under cold water.

Cook the Sauce
In a saucepan, combine the Morita chilis, garlic cloves, tomato, onion, salt, and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for about 15-20 minutes until the chilis are soft.

Blend the Sauce
Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. Blend the mixture until smooth. Adjust seasoning if necessary, then set aside.
Assembling the Taquitos

Fill the Tortillas
Take a flour tortilla and place a few slices of grilled steak in the center. Add some pico de gallo, a slice of avocado, and a few pieces of grilled scallions.

Roll the Taquitos
Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll it up tightly. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and fillings.

In a skillet, heat a small amount of oil over medium heat. Fry the taquitos seam side down until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
