    Preheat Oven

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Mix Dry Ingredients

    In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together until well mixed.

    Mix Wet Ingredients

    In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

Combining Ingredients

    Combine Mixtures

    Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix.

    Add Flavoring

    Add cinnamon to the batter and mix lightly.

    Add Toppings

    If desired, gently fold in chocolate chips and chopped nuts.

Baking

    Prepare Baking Dish

    Grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.

    Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
