Preparing the Steak Tips

Marinate the Steak
In a large bowl, combine the Black Angus steak tips with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Making the Chipotle Sauce

Blend Ingredients
In a blender, combine chipotle peppers, tomato sauce, chopped onion, chicken broth, lime juice, cumin, and sugar. Blend until smooth.

Cook the Sauce
Pour the blended sauce into a saucepan and bring it to a simmer over medium heat. Allow it to simmer for about 10 minutes to develop the flavors.

Combine with Steak
Add the cooked steak tips to the sauce, stirring to coat them evenly. Let them simmer together for another 5 minutes.
Preparing Rice and Beans

Cook the Rice
In a pot, combine the long grain rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 15 minutes or until the rice is tender.

In a small saucepan, heat the black beans over medium heat until warmed through.
