Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Clean the Octopus

If using fresh octopus, rinse it under cold water and remove the beak and innards. If using frozen, let it thaw completely.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

  3. 3

    Marinate the Octopus

Add the cleaned octopus to the marinade, ensuring it is well coated. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Grilling

  1. 4

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to a medium-high heat.

  2. 5

    Grill the Octopus

Remove octopus from the marinade and place it on the grill. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until it is nicely charred and cooked through.

  3. 6

    Serve

Once grilled, remove from the grill, slice if desired, and serve warm with a drizzle of olive oil and additional parsley on top.
