Burger Preparation

Form the Patty
Shape the 8 oz of ground beef into a round patty, about 1 inch thick. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Cook the Bacon
In a separate pan, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Burger
Spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun. Place the cooked patty on top, followed by the cheese slice, lettuce, tomato, onion, salted mushrooms, and bacon. Top with the other half of the bun.

Prepare the Potatoes
Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips for frying.

Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the oil to 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Potatoes
Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 4-6 minutes.

Season the Fries
Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. Sprinkle with salt while they are still hot.
