Method
Prepare Ground Beef
- 1
Cook the Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, until browned and no longer pink (about 5-7 minutes).
- 2
Add Seasoning
Drain excess fat if necessary. Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the cooked beef, then pour in the water. Stir to combine and let simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Assemble Tacos
- 3
Prepare Tortillas
In a separate skillet, heat the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side, until warm and pliable.
- 4
Fill Tortillas
Take each tortilla and place a scoop of the ground beef mixture in the center. Top with lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, and shredded cheese.
- 5
Fold and Crisp
Fold the tortillas in half to create a taco shape. If desired, place the filled tacos back in the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes on each side until crispy.
