Method
Croutons Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Bread
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread into small cubes, about 1 inch in size.
- 2
Season and Bake
In a bowl, toss the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt until evenly coated. Spread them out on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Stir halfway through for even cooking.
Salad Assembly
- 3
Prepare the Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Dry it using a salad spinner or pat it dry with paper towels. Tear the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.
- 4
Chop the Tomato
Dice the large tomato into small pieces and add it to the bowl with the romaine lettuce.
- 5
Slice the Chicken
Take the grilled chicken breast and slice it into thin strips. Add the chicken on top of the salad mixture.
- 6
Add Cheese and Dressing
Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese over the salad and drizzle the Caesar dressing on top. Toss everything together gently to combine.
- 7
Add Croutons
Just before serving, add the freshly baked croutons to the salad and toss lightly to ensure they don’t get soggy.
