Base

Method

Prepare Glass & Ice

  1. 1

    Chill glass

If possible, chill a tall glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes to keep the drink colder longer.

  2. 2

Fill the chilled glass with 1 cup of ice cubes, leaving room for soda and garnishes.

Mix Drink

  1. 3

Pour 2 cups of Sprite into a measuring pitcher. If you prefer a lighter carbonation or less sweetness, substitute up to 1/2 cup of that Sprite with 1/2 cup soda water and stir gently.

  2. 4

Add 1 tablespoon of fresh lime juice to the soda. Taste and, if you want it sweeter, stir in up to 1 teaspoon of simple syrup. Stir gently once or twice to combine—do not stir vigorously to preserve carbonation.

Finish & Serve

  1. 5

Pour the mixed soda over the prepared glass of ice.

  2. 6

Garnish with a lime wheel or wedge on the rim and an optional mint sprig. Serve immediately with a straw or stirring stick.
