Prepare the Breading
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

Soak the Seafood
Dip the shrimp or oysters into the buttermilk, ensuring they are well coated.

Bread the Seafood
Remove the shrimp or oysters from the buttermilk and coat them in the flour mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.

Heat the Oil
In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Seafood
Carefully add the breaded shrimp or oysters to the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Po'Boy
Slice the hoagie rolls and layer with fried shrimp or oysters, shredded lettuce, and tomato slices. Drizzle with spicy sriracha remoulade before serving.
