Method
Wings Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- 2
Prepare the Chicken Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and baking powder. Mix well until the wings are evenly coated.
- 3
Arrange Wings on Baking Sheet
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer on the rack. Drizzle with vegetable oil.
- 4
Bake the Wings
Bake the wings in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes until they are crispy and golden brown. Flip the wings halfway through cooking.
- 5
Prepare Hot Sauce Mixture
While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the hot sauce.
- 6
Coat the Wings
Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large mixing bowl and pour the hot sauce mixture over them. Toss well to coat all the wings evenly.
Celery and Blue Cheese Dressing
- 7
Prepare Celery Sticks
Trim and cut the celery stalks into 3-4 inch pieces and arrange them on a serving platter.
- 8
Make the Blue Cheese Dressing
In a medium bowl, combine the blue cheese crumbles, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- 9
Serve
Serve the buffalo wings hot with the celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side.
