Method

Bottled Water

1

Open and serve

Check the bottle cap seal is intact. If sealed, remove the cap by twisting counterclockwise until it comes off. If the bottle is cold and has condensation, wipe the top with a clean napkin or cloth. Hold the bottle by the base or neck and pour water into a glass or drink directly from the bottle. Replace the cap if you will store remaining water to keep it clean.

2

Optional: Chill

If you prefer chilled water and the bottle is at room temperature, place the sealed bottle in a refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or in an ice bucket for 10–15 minutes before opening.

3

Optional: Add ice or garnish

If desired, add ice to a glass before pouring, or add a slice of lemon, lime, or a sprig of mint to the glass for flavor. Discard any unused garnishes after one use.
