Brew 1 cup of strong espresso coffee and set aside to cool.

Making the Mascarpone Mixture

In a mixing bowl, whisk together 3 egg yolks and 6 tablespoons of granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.

Incorporate Mascarpone
Gently fold in 1 cup of mascarpone cheese into the egg yolk mixture until smooth.

Whip the Cream
In a separate bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Combine Mixtures
Carefully fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture along with 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until well combined.
Assembling the Tiramisu

Soak Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger in the cooled coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer Ingredients
In a rectangular dish, arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers at the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.

Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers and top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.
Chilling and Serving

Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for best results.
