Homemade Hot Sauce Preparation

    Prepare the Jalapeños

    Remove the stems from the fresh jalapeño peppers and chop them roughly.

    Blend the Ingredients

    In a blender, combine the chopped jalapeños, peeled garlic cloves, white vinegar, and salt. Blend until smooth.

    Store the Sauce

    Transfer the homemade hot sauce to a clean jar or bottle and set aside. This can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Michelada-nada Assembly

    Prepare the Glass

    Take a tall glass and rim it with lime juice and dip it into chili powder to coat the rim.

    Mix the Drink

    In the prepared glass, pour in the 6 oz of tomato juice followed by 12 oz of Heineken O.

    Add Hot Sauce

    Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of the homemade hot sauce to the drink, depending on your desired spice level.

    Finish with Lime

    Squeeze in 1 oz of fresh lime juice and stir gently to combine all ingredients.

    Garnish and Serve

    Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass and serve immediately, enjoying the refreshing Michelada-nada.
