Method

Preparation of Chicken

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Breading Station

Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat in breadcrumbs.

Cooking Chicken

  1. 4

    Heat Oil

In a large frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  2. 5

    Fry the Chicken

Carefully place the breaded chicken breasts in the hot oil and fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

  3. 6

    Drain Chicken

Remove the chicken from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Preparing Spiced Hot Sauce

  1. 7

    Melt Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. 8

    Combine Ingredients

Add hot sauce and honey to the melted butter and stir until well combined. Remove from heat.

Making Garlic Aioli

  1. 9

    Mix Aioli Ingredients

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, and salt. Mix until smooth.

Assembling the Sandwich

  1. 10

    Prepare Toppings

Slice the tomato and prepare the pickles.

  2. 11

    Assemble the Sandwich

Spread the garlic aioli on both halves of the burger buns. Place a piece of fried chicken on the bottom half, drizzle with spiced hot sauce, add tomato slices, pickles, and cap with the top half of the bun.
