Prepare the Salad Base

Wash and Tear Romaine Lettuce
Rinse the romaine lettuce under cold water and dry thoroughly. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.

Add Croutons and Parmesan
Add the croutons and grated Parmesan cheese to the torn lettuce in the bowl.
Make the Caesar Dressing

Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, anchovy paste, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

Whisk until Smooth
Whisk the dressing ingredients together until smooth and creamy. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
Cook Protein Additions

Prepare the Chicken
Grill the chicken breasts over medium heat for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Let rest before slicing.

Cook Shrimp (if using)
In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.

Combine Salad and Dressing
Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the salad base and toss gently to combine.

Place sliced grilled chicken, sautéed shrimp, or cooked salmon on top of the salad as desired.
