Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Method

Grilled Cheese Sandwich

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sandwich

Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Place two slices, buttered side down, in a skillet over medium heat.

  2. 2

    Add Cheese and Fillings

Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each piece of bread. Choose one optional filling and add it on top of the cheese. Top with another slice of cheddar cheese and cover with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.

  3. 3

    Grill the Sandwich

Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Carefully flip the sandwich and grill the other side for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.

  4. 4

    Repeat for Additional Sandwiches

Repeat the process for any additional sandwiches.

Tomato Soup

  1. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until translucent.

  2. 6

    Add Tomatoes and Broth

Stir in the canned tomatoes and vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer.

  3. 7

    Season the Soup

Add salt, pepper, and dried basil. Let the soup simmer for about 20 minutes.

  4. 8

    Blend the Soup

Use an immersion blender to puree the soup until smooth. Adjust seasoning to taste.
