Burrito Preparation Directions
- 1
Prepare the Pinto Beans
In a medium pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the pinto beans, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir and cook for 5-7 minutes until heated through and flavors meld.
- 2
Warm the Tortillas
In a dry skillet over medium heat, warm the flour tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

Assemble the Burritos
Lay a warm tortilla flat on a plate. Add 1/2 cup of arroz verde, 1/2 cup of pinto beans, 1/4 cup of white cheddar cheese, and a few slices of your choice of chile. Fold the sides of the tortilla inwards and then roll from the bottom to enclose the filling.

Serve
Place the assembled burritos seam side down on a serving platter and serve warm. Enjoy with extra rice, beans, or salsa on the side.
