Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt the cheese.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a separate pan until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, layer lettuce, a cooked patty with melted cheese, slices of tomato, and pickles. Add ketchup and mustard to taste, then top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the cheeseburgers immediately with your favorite sides.
