Baking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Oven and Ramekins

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease four ramekins with butter and dust with flour, tapping out the excess.

  2. 2

    Melt the Chocolate and Butter

In a medium saucepan, melt the unsweetened chocolate and unsalted butter over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

  3. 3

    Mix the Batter

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extract until well combined. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture and whisk until smooth. Gently fold in the flour and a pinch of salt until just combined.

  4. 4

    Fill the Ramekins

Evenly divide the batter among the prepared ramekins, filling them about 3/4 full.

  5. 5

    Bake

Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is soft.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let sit for 1 minute. Carefully invert each ramekin onto a plate. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
