Cake Preparation

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.

Bake the Cake
Pour the batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Soak the Cake
Slowly pour the milk mixture over the cooled cake, making sure to soak it evenly. Let it absorb for at least 1 hour, or preferably overnight in the refrigerator.
Almond Chantilly Preparation

Chill Chantilly
Refrigerate the almond chantilly until ready to serve.
Mango Sauce Preparation

Blend Mango Sauce
In a blender, combine the diced mango, sugar, and lime juice. Blend until smooth. If you prefer a chunkier sauce, blend only half of the mango and leave the rest diced.

Chill Sauce
Refrigerate the mango sauce until ready to serve.
Serving

Serve the Cake
Slice the tres leches cake and serve it topped with a generous dollop of almond chantilly and a drizzle of mango sauce.
