Method

Main Dish

  1. 1

    Marinate the Turkey

In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk, adobo seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Turkey

Add the boneless turkey breast to the marinade, ensuring it is fully submerged. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

  3. 3

    Cook the Turkey

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Remove the turkey from the marinade and allow excess to drip off. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the turkey breast on both sides until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  4. 4

    Bake

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Sides

  1. 5

    Prepare Corn

While the turkey is baking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the corn on the cob and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.

  2. 6

    Make Cilantro Butter

In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with chopped fresh cilantro and the juice of one lime. Spread over the cooked corn before serving.

Dessert

  1. 7

    Prepare Pumpkin Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

  2. 8

    Fill the Pie Crust

Pour the pumpkin mixture into the pie crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.

  3. 9

    Bake the Pie

Bake in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 45-50 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown. Allow to cool before serving.
