Churro Dough Preparation

Prepare the Dough
In a medium saucepan, combine water, 2 tablespoons of sugar, salt, and 1 tablespoon of butter. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.

Combine Flour
Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat and stir in 1 cup of flour until the mixture forms a ball. Let it cool for about 10 minutes.

Add Eggs
Add the 2 eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. The dough should be smooth and glossy.

Prepare for Frying
Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.

Pipe and Fry
Carefully pipe strips of dough into the hot oil, cutting them to the desired length with scissors. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

Chocolate Sauce Preparation

Heat Cream
In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup of heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer.

Add Chocolate
Remove the pan from heat and add 1 cup of bittersweet chocolate chips. Let it sit for a minute, then stir until smooth.

Stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until fully combined.
