Burger Patty

Cheese

Remoulade Sauce

Curry Pickles

Method

Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty

In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently without overworking the meat.

  2. 2

    Shape the Patty

Form the mixture into a 1/2 lb patty, making a slight indentation in the center to prevent puffing during cooking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patty

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Top with a slice of white cheddar cheese and cover for the last minute to melt.

Remoulade Sauce

  1. 4

    Mix the Sauce

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, minced capers, lemon juice, and hot sauce. Whisk until smooth and well blended.

Curry Pickles

  1. 5

    Prepare the Pickles

In a bowl, add sliced cucumbers, white vinegar, curry powder, sugar, and salt. Mix well to coat the cucumbers evenly.

  2. 6

    Marinate

Let the mixture sit for at least 30 minutes or refrigerate for a few hours to allow the flavors to meld.

Fries

  1. 7

    Prepare the Potatoes

Rinse the russet potatoes and cut them into even strips. Soak in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 8

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potatoes in batches for 4-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  3. 9

    Season the Fries

While hot, sprinkle fries with salt to taste.
