Stuffed Mushroom Caps

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mushroom Caps

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Clean the mushroom caps with a damp cloth and remove the stems. Finely chop the stems and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped mushroom stems, cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, minced garlic, chopped parsley, bread crumbs, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.

  3. 3

    Stuff the Mushroom Caps

Using a spoon, generously fill each mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, pressing it down slightly to pack it in.

  4. 4

    Bake

Place the stuffed mushroom caps on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm as an appetizer or snack.
