Cooking Instructions
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a large bowl, combine buttermilk and hot sauce. Add chicken tenders, ensuring they're fully submerged. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for better flavor.
- 2
Prepare the Coating
In another bowl, mix together flour, cornstarch, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Coat the Chicken
Remove chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge each tender in the flour mixture, pressing gently to ensure a good coating.
- 5
Fry the Tenders
Carefully place the coated chicken tenders in the hot oil, frying in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 6
Drain and Serve
Transfer cooked tenders to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
